Apex Legends Season 3 has arrived and with it brings a new map, new gear AND a new character. The popular battle royale game, developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts, has entered its third season; shortly before its closest competitor (Fortnite) enters Season 11.

Also in Flash Forward, we preview DreamHack Malmo 2019 and League of Legends Worlds Play-In.

Apex Legends Season 3

After an exciting launch, Apex Legends lost a lot of its momentum around the release of its first season, due to the lukewarm reception. With the added pressure of a declining playerbase, Respawn Entertainment stepped up to the plate and delivered the electrifying Season Two. Now with Season 3, complete with a new map and character, this is shaping up to be the best season yet.

DreamHack Malmo 2019

Shortly after ESL One New York, DreamHack Malmo takes centre stage in the world of Counter-Strike. The CORSAIR DreamHack Masters features 16 of the best CS:GO teams in the world, battling out in the hunt for the big share of the $250,000 prize pool. The tournament is split into two stages, a group stage played at Malmömässan (the group stage is not open to public), with the playoffs being played in front of the crowd in Malmö Arena.

League of Legends World Play In

The Play-In is currently live, giving teams a final shot at making it to the biggest stage of them all in League of Legends. This is the first stage of Worlds 2019, with 12 teams participating from around the world, in a two phase tournament. In round 1, teams are drawn into four double round robin groups based on seeding, in best of one maches - the top two teams from each group advance to round 2. The last 8 teams will play for the final four spots in a best of five match, where first place teams will play second place teams from groups.
