Pro Series 3 Recap

David Tonizza keeps his place at the top of the Driver Standings, after claiming a victory in Austria, however Red Bull Racing jump above Ferrari in the Team Standings thanks to an impressive evening from Frederik Rasmussen.

Race 1 - Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Canada

In race one, Frederik Rasmussen finished first after a tough battle from several other racers. But, after a controversial decision was made for an unsafe exit from the pit lane, he was demoted to fourth place; instead, Cedric Thome placed first.

1st - Cedric Thome (Renault Sport Team Vitality)
2nd - Brendon Leigh (Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports)
3rd - Jarno Opmeer (Renault Sport Team Vitality)

Race 2 - Red Bull Ring, Austria

It was back to business for David Tonizza, he managed to hold off a determined Frederik Rasmussen; who was nipping at the heels for a large portion of the race. With one lap to go, he looked like he was destined to make the move and take the lead, but couldn't get it done. Jarno Opmeer was the top driver in Austria, he managed to climb 3 places in the final 2 laps of the race; including a fantastic double overtake.

1st - David Tonizza - (Ferrari Driver Academy)
2nd - Frederik Rasmussen (Red Bull Racing Esports)
3rd - Jarno Opmeer (Renault Sport Team Vitality)

Race 3 - Silverstone, England

A frustrating night for Frederik Rasmussen came to a conclusion with another runner-up medal. Despite having a great race, where he pulled off a superb overtake to steal the lead from David Tonizza early on, it wasn't enough to hold off Marcel Kiefer.

2nd - Frederik Rasmussen (Red Bull Racing Esports)
3rd Daniel Bereznay (Alfa Romeo Racing F1 Esports)

The next event takes place on the 6th November 2019, once again from the Gfinity Arena in London. You can read more about it here.
