Enable initially came from a Halo background, with his most successful stint in Call of Duty coming from the Advanced Warfare season under FaZe Clan  Slacked individually had a great year, picking up a major trophy early on in the season at Fort Worth, making a name for himself with the 'Slacked Slam' - the nickname for his multi-kills with a grav slam. Crimsix is the winningest player in Call of Duty history with 32 Major tournament wins, including two Call of Duty World Championships. After spend 5 years on OpTic Gaming, their demise ultimately led to his departure. The 'Crimbot' has won a major title on every Call of Duty, since he started competing in Black Ops 2, apart from WWII. There's no doubt that the former Halo pro's wealth of experience at the top level will bring a huge boost for the team, alongside former Complexity teammate Clayster; with Dallas opting to field a much younger team.

New York Sign Censor (17th October)

Doug "Censor" Martin is one of the longest serving Call of Duty pros and despite its priority for him falling in recent years, he has been adamant on social media that he deserves to be a part of a pro team again. It appears his cries have been heard as New York have signed up as the sixth member of the squad. It appears that Censor may be more of a substitute rather than a starting player, however Censor has a massive following and a great personal brand; which will be of great benefit to the NYC team.

Dallas Franchise Announce Illey (17th October)

Indervir "iLLeY" Dhaliwal is the next young gun to join the Dallas crew. A relative unknown is only a few days away from turning 18, only winning a few amateur tournaments last year with Forfeit Gaming.

Cuyler "Huke" Garland joins the Dallas squad as their third player, after a troublesome year in Black Ops 4. Huke's career in COD started at any early age, however he was too young to compete in Call of Duty long-term and could legally compete after Advanced Warfare. Huke moved to compete in Halo, where he was a huge success, before coming back to Call of Duty during World War II. Towards the later stage of last year, Huke transferred to Splyce from Envy and now returns home for the new season.

With this announcement, they have changed their social media handle from @London_COD to @RoyalRavens.

Shotzzy Joins Dallas Franchise (15th October)

Anthony "Shotzzy" Cuevas-Castro joins the Dallas Franchise. Formerly of Splyce Black, who competed in the amateur scene for Black Ops 4, has no real notable placements; other than a top 48 at the CWL Amateur Finals in the previous season.

Seattle Announcement Incoming (14th Ocotber)

In a cryptic message, it appears Seattle have a big announcement coming on the 21st October. Likely to be the announcement of their team name, rumoured to be the Seattle Surge.

Minnesota Announce Alexx (10th October)

Alex "Alexx" Carpenter has joined the Minnesota franchise for the officially confirmed Call of Duty League. After joining Team Reciprocity late in the Black Ops 4 CWL season, Alexx impressed many despite an up and down season where he struggled to find a place to call home after Team Denial's management folded. Alexx is the 4th player to join the franchise and another talented European player to be picked up by a North American team.

The CDL Is Officially Announced (9th October)

Eight Potential Rosters Leaked (21st September)

Popular CDL intel Twitter account, CDL Intel, has leaked eight potential starting rosters for Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Florida, London, Los Angeles (IMT), New York and Seattle. As for the other four teams, it looks like they are beginning to assemble their respective rosters ahead of the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on October 25th.

Minnesota Announce Silly, Assault & GodRx (20th September)

Justin "SiLLY" Fargo-Palmer and Adam "Assault" Garcia, formerly of Team Envy, have joined the Minnesota franchise in an epic reveal video. They will be joined by Adam "GodRx" Brown, who played for Enigma6 previously and they will be coached by Brian "Saintt" Baroska. The team have two spots left in their squad, to which they hinted at in their reveal video, we must assume we will hear more about these mysterious additions soon.

Skrapz & Dylan Join London Franchise (20th September)

Matthew "Skrapz" Marshall joins his twin brother as part of the London franchise in the CDL. Skrapz, originally starting on the Red Reserve squad last season, made his move to FaZe Clan mid-way through Black Ops 4; after they made their re-introduction to competitive Call of Duty. Despite denying that he would be teaming with his brother in the next year, the dynamic duo are back together for the first time since their seperation during the WW2 season under UNILAD.

Dylan "Dylan" Henderson also join the London franchise after an incredible breakout year at the top level. After Dylan came in to replace Denz, you could tell the future was bright for the youngster and we're expecting big things from him and his team in the next year. Call of Duty is coming home.

Wuskin Joins London Franchise (17th September)

Bradley "Wuskin" Masrshall has joined the recently announced London franchise in the CDL. Wuskin was a part of the electric Reciprocity roster last year, they kept everyone guessing with their unpredictable performances at major events. It's been rumoured that he will not be teaming with his twin Skrapz, the question remains who will he be teaming with and how many players will rejoin him for another season?

As one of the first squad announcements, in the wider scope of the CDL, it's likely we will see many more off the back of this.

The Fall of OpTic Gaming (10th September)

Although OpTic Gaming will be in the CDL, after acquiring one of the two Los Angeles spots, it is looking like the CWL Las Vegas champions (from Black Ops 4) will not be sticking together for the Modern Warfare season.

Two-time world champion Ian "Crimsix" Porter announced that he is a restricted free agent for the upcoming season. Three-time world champ Damon "Karma" Barlow is also exploring possibilites ahead of the start of the CDL - recently he revealed his frustration over the situation. With presumably all five members of OpTic up for grabs, it will certainly be interesting to see where these talents land before the 2020 season gets started.

Brack Restricted Free Agent Amid Luminosity Interest

Carson "Brack" Newberry was one of the several standout players to break into the upper echelons of Call of Duty esports during the Black Ops 4 season. Although there were no championship victories for him, it's no surprise that he has announced his restricted free agency with several franchises looking for players.

This announcement is particularly interesting. Popular CoD esports intel account "CDL Intel" has revealed that Luminosity Gaming, Brack's current team, are rumoured to be entering the CDL after acquiring the Seattle spot. Will Brack end up staying with Luminosity and represent Seattle or will he find pastures new? Only time will tell.

As of writing (September 10th) there has been no official confirmation regarding London entering the league but having London in the league will be great for Call of Duty fans in the UK after a capacity crowd filled the Copper Box Arena for CWL London.
