Apex Legends will likely be making an appearance at Gamescom 2019 this year. Here is everything we know about the hit battle royale title.

Apex Legends has been one of the biggest breakthrough titles in recent years and with Gamescom 2019 nearly upon us, we’re eager to see what EA and Respawn Entertainment will have in store for us. Earlier last month, we were treated to the release of its biggest content update to date. Season Two gave us new weapons, dramatic map changes and the electrifying new ‘Legend’, Wattson

With all of this, you may think what could they possible announce so soon? However there is already a lot of speculation around Apex Legends Season Three and what that might bring.

Stay tuned as we'll be updating this article with every announcement that comes out of Gamescom 2019!

Gamescom Opening Night Live Show

EA are one of many publishers presenting during Geoff Keighley’s Gamescom Opening Night Live show, an evening of world premier content and announcements to kick off the main event.

EA have their own show to host and there's nothing to suggest they won’t this year however they have been very busy this past year and may not have the time to present everything. The Opening Night show gives them an opportunity to showcase the likes of Plants vs Zombies, the new Need for Speed or perhaps reveal a certain new ‘Legend’?

For months, it’s been highly speculated that we’ll see CRYPTO, a hacking specialist, land in Kings Canyon as a playable ‘Legend’ in Apex Legends and recently, a developer shared an image on Twitter of her wearing a MOCAP suit and hinted that it has something to do with Crypto. Perhaps the motion capture is for a new character reveal trailer? We can only wait and see.
