Check out the latest content update for Fortnite v9.30 and the new weapon the 'Air Strike'.

Another content update makes it's way to Fornite for v9.30, with content update #3. Content update #2 saw the introduction of the drum shotgun and now we are blessed with a brand new weapon, the 'Air Strike'.

Battle Royale

The latest weapon to be added to the popular battle royale is the Air Strike cannister. The description from Epic Games is "Throw this down to get help from above!". As it sounds, throwing this canister down will release colored smoke that calls in a flurry of missiles from above. When the canister comes to rest, missiles will spawn after a short delay.

The missles spawn about 120 meters above the cannister and aim for random points within a 9 meter radius - a total of 20 missiles will spawn and has an explosion radius of 3.5 meters.

Epic have also listed the damage details:

Missile damage to players: 75
Missile damage to structures: 200

This items can be found from Floor Loot, Chests, Supply Drops, Vending Machines and Llamas. It drops in stacks of 1 and you can stack up to a maximum of 2.

More can be found on the Epic Games post here.

New galleries have been added, you can now "sport a new paint job and create off-road courses using Car Gallery B!"

The 4 new galleries are:

  • Car Gallery B - which has more car colour variants
  • Snow & Mud Floor Gallery
  • Grass & Sand Floor Gallery
  • Lava Floor Gallery

Save The World

There's a new Wargames simulation called 'Double Trouble' and with it the De-Atomizer 9000 launches in the weekly store.
