The latest patch for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is LIVE! The new patch brings the new Days of Summer seasonal event, the second half to Operation Spectre Rising. With changes for Blackout, Multiplayer and Zombies, let’s take a look at the new additions making their way onto the battlefield.

Zombies

The latest gauntlet for Ancient Evil is now live on PS4. 'Labours of Hercules' features 30 new challenges for you and your squad mates to take on. In addition to the new gauntlet, players can now track their stats against their friends and other players in the new Gauntlet Leaderboards. The new leaderboards can track your highest round, best gold, silver and bronze kills across all of the gauntlets.

Four new fan-favourite Epic Elixirs have arrived in the laboratory: Perkaholic, Near Death Experience, Reign Drops and Shopping Free make their debut in Black Ops 4 Zombies. The new update has added support for new weapons and Mastercrafts.

The next part of the Aether story is set to return in the next operation starting in July.

Blackout

After the Hydro Dam burst, flooding vast areas of the map, the water has now receded and the Dam is now under reconstruction, the Factory is being repaired, Cargo Docks has undergone some layout changes and Hijacked is sailing towards the cove at Nuketown Island.

Ground War makes its long-awaited debut to Blackout with chaotic 50v50 warfare to boot! Drop with your team or get behind the enemy early on to grab some early kills to help secure the win. More loot will be located around the map along with “Down but Not Out” redeploys to keep the action going all the way to the final circle.

Also live are the new Attack Helicopter armed with mounted turrets and the use the Hawk to spot enemies throughout the map.

Multiplayer

Black Ops 2 map grind is back and free for all players. The skatepark map is back in rotation from today and it’s exactly the same from Black Ops 2!

The update sees the debut of Capture the Flag as the new Featured Playlist. The idea is simple: capture the enemy flag while defending your own. First team to capture the flag three times or gets the most captures wins the round. First team to two rounds wins!

There have been plenty of new and classic weapons added to Multiplayer. Players can unlock a weapon bribe at Tier 25 in the Contraband stream and the new Vendetta sniper rifle is available at Tier 50. The S6 Stingray tactical rifle, Peacekeeper Assault Rifle, Locus bolt-action sniper rifle and the Ballistic Knife are all available in the Reserves.

In the World League Hub, escalating temporary bans have been reintroduced for players who leave mid-game to ensure fuller games for longer.
