ARK: Survival Evolved is known to have an annual Winter Wonderland event, the game's Christmas-themed event. 2021 would be the event's sixth edition if it pushes through, and there's a lot of things players can look forward to this Holiday season. Here's everything we know so far about the ARK: Survival Evolved Winter Wonderland 6 event in 2021.
ARK: Survival Evolved Winter Wonderland 6 Event Date
Past editions of the event all began during the third week of December, with last year's event he starting on December 17th. Looking back on past events, here's when they started:
- Winter Wonderland 1: December 22, 2015 - January 5th, 2016
- Winter Wonderland 2: December 23, 2016 - December 30th, 2016
- Winter Wonderland 3: December 18th, 2018 - January 7th, 2019
- Winter Wonderland 4: December 17th, 2019 - January 7th, 2020
- Winter Wonderland 5: December 17th, 2020 - January 7th, 2021
We'd imagine 2021 will be the same, likely starting on December 16th and ending around the first week of January next year (January 6 or 7 as an estimate).
ARK: Survival Evolved Winter Wonderland 6: What To Expect
There's no official announcement about Winter Wonderland 6. However, based on previous years, there are a few things we can expect once it begins.
From Winter Wonderland 1-5, the Raptor Claus - a Raptor with a Santa outfit - was always present, flying over certain areas in The Island. It'll most likely show up this year, dropping presents in various places on the map.
For the resources and items, Christmas-themed stuff can appear during the event's duration. Examples of these are:
- Candy Cane Club Skin
- Caroling Skin
- Holiday Lights
- Holiday Stocking
- Dino Santa Hat Skin
- Festive Dino Candy
Winter Wonderlands 4 and 5 also had the Chibis/Chibi-Pets, which may also be available in Winter Wonderland 6. They include:
- Top-Hat Kairuku
- Gacha Claus
Last year's event saw the rates increase twice. All of the Breeding, Player XP, and Harvesting rates became x2, so it wouldn't be surprising if that happens again in Winer Wonderland 6.
