Why Streamers Keep Leaving Call of Duty: Warzone for Apex Legends

NICKMERCS is the biggest and most recent streamer to leave Call of Duty for Apex Legends, but it seems even more follow. TimTheTatman, who, like many other streamers, has been angry recently over the wave of cheaters in Call of Duty: Warzone. It is frustrating to deal with cheaters in a game, but in Warzone, it seems to be more frustrating since there are no effective measures to stop cheating.

Many fans even believe that TimTheTatman has left the game to join DrDisrespect, Cloazy, and NickMercs in Apex Legends. Streamers generally experience a drop in viewership and angry fans when they move games, but not in the cases of these streamers.

Streamers keep leaving Call of Duty: Warzone for Apex Legends

NickMercs peaked at just over 80,000 viewers during Apex Legends Season 10, which is 30,000 more viewers than usual. This has also extended to his average viewership as well, which is up at its highest since May.

NickMerc's great transition extends to both Cloakzy and TimTheTatman as well. As far as Tim is concerned, the transition has gone just as smoothly, with his viewership remaining unchanged. If he gave up Warzone and moved to Apex Legends, he might actually benefit from it, like NickMercs has.

DrDisrespect and xQc seem to be the only ones having issues with Apex Legends. Both have been more than vocal about it but they still refuse to play Warzone. This shows exactly how bad things have gotten for the game.

If Call of Duty doesn't fix this issue, they will soon lose the rest of their big streamers.
