Nicholas 'NICKMERCS' Kolcheff has been killing it in Apex Legends since he moved there. His FPS skill, which is transferrable from one game to another, was not erased when he went from Call of Duty Warzone to Apex Legends. Sure, he's not the best player, but he's improving, and he's certainly earned his spot.

In contrast to Warzone, Apex Legends requires teamwork, but there are times when players have to hold their own. These are the clips that show NICKMERCS at his best. I've also included a bonus clip of him addressing when he would return to Warzone.

We'll start with a 1 v 1 against Dalton, AKA Daltoosh. Everyone knows Daltoosh is an amazing player, so if NICKMERCS even makes him sweat, it's an achievement. He does a bit more than that, and this clip shows both sides of the fight.

What would this be without clutches? NICKMERCS is pinned down with two enemies just wrecking his spot. The circle closes further, which forces the enemies to get close, and Nick has no choice to go for the clutch.

And of course, where would anyone be without a little bit of a dumb trick that works?

I know what you're thinking, "NICKMERCS was great with Warzone! When will he come back?!" My guess is not until the better anti-cheat comes with Vanguard. Still, he's addressed this many times:
