Despite plenty of focus surrounding the launch of Apex Legends on mobile, a leak revealing nine unreleased characters and a brand-new map has emerged online.
First reported by VGC, the leak showcases the names of the unreleased Legends alongside a range of new weaponry expected to arrive as part of the Season 13 update.
Alongside the names, numerous videos showcasing the Legends in action appeared on Reddit, much to the excitement of players looking forward to what Respawn has in store for the battle royale.
Apex Legends Character Leak
Based on the leaked footage, a Legend named Newcastle looks to be the most complete, suggesting that it could arrive in the not too distant future. Alongside Newcastle, the leaked Legends are as follows:
- Conduit
- Scryer
- Caliber
- Jester
- Phantom
- Vantage
- Uplink
- Catalyst
As always, leaks should be taken with a pinch of salt but judging by the footage, the new weapons and Legends appear to be from a development build of the game. Some of the weapons look particularly interesting, with a brand-new bow and akimbo pistols in the works.
Apex Legends Newcastle Release Date
As the most complete character that appeared in the leak, there's every chance Newcastle will arrive in the game soon. Season 13 is expected to start in May, meaning the Legend could arrive at some point during the remainder of Season 12.
