Following up the 50-million player record set in Apex Legends’ first month of release, Respawn and EA declared that by October 2019, the game had already 70 million players worldwide.

But despite the game’s popularity, Apex Legends only became available on Steam last November 2020. Yet this move significantly made an impact on the game which resulted in a milestone months after.

In April 2021, it was announced by Respawn themselves that Apex Legends has already surpassed 100 million players since it was released. This was seen in a tweet posted by the official Apex Legends Twitter account.

Having 100 million players is a very huge thing for any game available. With Apex Legends being able to achieve this feat, it just proves how the game made a name for itself from the day it was released.
