Following unbalanced weapon issues circulating Apex Legends, Respawn has responded to fan calls regarding potential exploits. Disabling the Rampage LMG and Sentinel sniper rifle, this is due to their “overpowered” potential in games.

Announced via Twitter (spotted by GameSpot), this exploit allows both weapons to be charged in a near-infinite manner. Rampage LMG can be powered with thermite grenades, while the Sentinel sniper rifle could be strengthened with help from shield cells, creating unbalanced advantages.
