EA and Respawn Entertainment have released the Apex Legends: Defiance launch trailer. Showing off a new playable Legend, Mad Maggie, we've got a glimpse at the new map too. Like previous Apex Legends trailers, Defiance is mostly cinematic and shows off several characters and their traits, especially Mad Maggie.
While no gameplay was shown, the trailer's end teased Apex Legends’ new mode: Control. For the unaware, this is the battle royale's latest Limited Time Mode, where players team up for a 9-on-9 showdown.

But that's not all. It's also confirmed that gameplay reveals for Apex Legends Season 12 are happening on January 31, showing off the aforementioned Control mode and how Mad Maggie. It’s unknown if Apex Legends' next-gen upgrade will also be revealed, but we're hopeful for an update soon.
