Season 7's town takeover featured Pathfinder this time around!

The boxing ring was great fun but many players are already looking ahead to the next legend in the spotlight.

Well, get ready because it looks like Caustic will be our star of Kings Canyon in the next town takeover.

Season 8's revamped KC will see a featured area for our mad scientist!

Caustic Town Takeover Leaked

The leak comes from the latest update which set Season 8 live.

February 2nd, Biast12, a well-known data miner took to Twitter to share some audio files.

“The erupted gas pocket and fuel have combined to create a gargantuan supply of toxin."

"If there’s a way to refine it, I could mould it into something spectacular."

"The water treatment facility will not purify this toxic spill,”

“If I could convince them that I could handle it, well… that would open some real possibilities."

"The best way to test this would be human subjects. Luckily, there’s an ample supply of lab rats right here.”

Many believe the town takeover will be based around the new Spotted Lakes.

This theory actually seems likely due to the water treatment, no doubt Caustic will do something mischievous.

Caustic Town Takeover Release Date

It seems that the town takeover won’t go live for a few weeks at least.

The likelihood is that the official takeover will go live sometime in March.

Although, teasers are set to release before then.

  • Teaser 2 - February 25th
  • Teaser 3 - February 27th
  • Teaser 4 - March 1st
