NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman Switch From Warzone To Apex Legends

Call of Duty: Warzone is still going fairly strong, but depending on who you ask, some may say it's becoming stale. Two such believers are top streamers Nick 'NICKMERCS' Kolcheff and Tim 'TimTheTatman' Betar, who are both trying out different games as a little vacation from Verdansk.

The two extremely popular Warzone streamers have decided to join in the fun ahead of Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence. Will they decide to stay? Will Apex take Warzone's place? Who's to say, but here's what they think about Apex and the current state of Warzone.

NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman Switch From Warzone To Apex Legends

According to Apex Legends streamer CouRage, he managed to convince both TimTheTatman and NICKMERCS to play Respawn's FPS title.

There's definitely a major difference between Warzone and Apex Legends, although both are battle royale games and seem similar, they contain completely different mechanics and playstyles.

This is apparent from the two streamers' abilities. Whereas in Warzone they are almost unmatched (although some would argue that Tim could use some improvement), the pair are not up to the same standard in Apex Legends, although they're still pretty good.

Below you can find a tweet containing footage from TimTheTatman's stream, I think we can all relate to the rage from Tim as the realisation he's being third partied sets in.

The biggest difference is the increased time-to-kill in Apex compared to Warzone. This allows abilities and characters to come into play a lot more, but it takes some getting used to. However, it seems that NICKMERCS needs to work on the basics, like picking up shields, for instance.

It seems that Tim and Nick intend to keep playing, and with this recent tweet, they might be looking for a third to fill their squad on a regular basis.

Nick has said in the past that he loves watching Philip 'ImperialHal' Dosen play Apex, so perhaps we could see the TSM man squad up with FaZe's finest?

While we hope that these guys continue to play Apex Legends, it makes it clear that Warzone is in need of dire work to keep players interested.
