Scarlet Nexus Demo Launches Today On PS4 and PS5

Update - May 28

Following a week of Xbox exclusivity, Bandai Namco's demo for Scarlet Nexus is now live on the PlayStation Store. Available for both PS4 and PS5 players, that comes in at around 8GB, lasting for about 30 minutes. Better yet, PS5 owners can test out the DualSense exclusive features, including adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.

Update - May 21

As confirmed previously, Scarlet Nexus' demo is out now for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S owners, letting you play up to the first major encounter as both protagonists, Yuito Sumeragi and Kasane Randall. As such, Bandai Namco released this statement:

Players can join the ranks of the OSF and take the control of either Yuito or Kasane for some psychokinesic action until the first boss encounter.

Yuito fights with close-ranged attacks thanks to his swords and can borrow Pyrokinesis, Teleportation, Clairvoyance and Sclerokinesis powers from his team members.

On her side, Kanase specializes in mid-ranged attacks with flying knives. In addition, she can use the following powers depending on the composition of her party: Electrokinesis, Hypervelocity, Invisibility and Duplication.

For those looking to play on PS4 or PS5, this demo arrives next week on May 28th, while PC players don't seem to be getting one at all.

Scarlet Nexus' launch is coming next month and Bandai Namco Entertaining want you to know it. Releasing on June 25th, you can check our preview for this upcoming game, where we called it a promising action RPG with "undeniably satisfying" combat, but if you'd rather check it out directly, then we have good news.

Launching on Xbox One and Series X|S first, Scarlet Nexus is confirmed to be receiving a demo next week. That goes live on May 21, allowing you to play up until the first major encounter for both protagonists, Yuito Sumeragi and Kasane Randall.

Furthermore, if you've got save data on your console from the console, that'll unlock two cosmetic items and a plug-in, the latter of which enhances your combat abilities. There's one for Yuito and Kasane's stories, offering a Bunny Ear Mask, OSF Standard Issue Pack (Black), and two plug-ins to increase your defence and attack power.

Sadly, there's no mention of a PC demo arriving, but PS4 and PS5 owners aren't missing out. For those platforms, this will arrive on May 28 instead.
