Hot off the success of Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds in Japan, Level-5, the original developers behind the Ni no Kuni series, are hard at work on a brand new, unannounced RPG.
With development moving forward, Level-5 has begun work on recruiting staff for this new project. The developer behind popular franchises like Professor Layton and the Dragon Quest series are mobilizing personnel for a brand new RPG.
Level-5 Recruiting New Talent For Unannounced RPG
The roles being enlisted for include:
- Test Player (part-time job)
- UI Designer
- Effect Designer
- 3D Map Designer
- 3D Character Motion Designer
- 3D Character Designer
- Game Director
While Level-5 is keeping details for their new RPG under wraps, the job-listing is complemented by original concept art; presumably from the upcoming game. Despite reports that Level-5 has halted releasing games outside of Japan, Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is due for the Nintendo Switch this September.
Their most recent production, Megaton Musashi, currently has no western release date. Because of this, it remains to be seen whether Level-5's new RPG will hit western markets in the upcoming years.
