Microsoft’s expansion into Japanese properties continues on, as Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition has just seen a surprise launch on Xbox One and Xbox Series X. As if this sudden appearance wasn’t noteworthy enough, the game's also available on both Xbox and PC Game Pass.

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition is a remaster of the original PSP game, offering improved visuals and several new extras. Marking the first Danganronpa entry, this took us to Hope's Peak Academy as 15 students are forced to participate in a deadly killing game, forcing us to uncover the mastermind.

Spike Chunsoft's been hyping up Danganronpa's 10th anniversary, recently releasing the core entries on Nintendo Switch through the Danganronpa Decadence collection. It’s unknown if other Danganronpa games are coming to Xbox Game Pass too, though they've long been available on PC through Steam outside of Game Pass.
