Bravely Default 2 on Steam is finally happening, Square Enix announced. Bravely Default 2's PC version will release September 2, almost six months after its original release on Nintendo Switch.
As is usually the case with Square Enix, there's a Bravely Default 2 Steam discount for those who purchase it within the first 10 days. It'll cost $53.99 until September 13, after which the price goes up to the typical $59.99.
Despite being a numbered sequel, Bravely Default 2 is a standalone story. It follows Seth, Adelle, Gloria, and Elvis as they attempt to keep the elemental crystals governing the world's order out of evil hands.
It's a throwback to the glory days of RPG storytelling and mechanics - sometimes too much, as we said in our review.
