Animal Crossing: New Horizons Version 2.0 Gets a Surprise Early Launch, Available Now


Well, this is a lovely surprise. Originally announced to launch tomorrow, Nintendo decided to roll out Animal Crossing: New Horizons Version 2.0 a day early. Putting it live at 2AM BST, they'd originally confirmed it'd launch on November 5th.

However, if you're hoping to jump into the paid DLC component with this update, Happy Home Paradise, then bad news. Only Version 2.0's free content has gone live currently, meaning you'll still have to wait until tomorrow.

Brewster's back with a new Roost café inside Blathers' museum, letting you chill out with friends, Isabelle, and other villagers. Gyroids can now be unearthed, Harv's Island has undergone a renewal, cooking has been added to DIY recipes, boat tours with Kapp'n are available, and more.
