Isabelle Finally Gets to Take a Well-Earned Break in Animal Crossing New Horizons Version 2.0

Animal Crossing New Horizons is set to receive a huge update in November, adding in everything from Gyroids to a full-blown DLC pack. This all pales in comparison to the biggest news of the day however: Tom Nook has finally let Isabelle take some breaks from her job at Town Hall.

Isabelle Finally Gets to Take a Well-Earned Break in Animal Crossing New Horizons Version 2.0

Isabelle is a fan favourite in Animal Crossing, so it's good to see her starting to be included in other areas of New Horizons. She attended the odd festival after the game launched, and bridge ceremonies, but now it seems like players will get even more opportunities to interact with her.

As you can see in the Direct trailer embedded above, Isabelle will sometimes visit The Roost, revealing that Mr Nook has let her take a little break. It's good to see Isabelle out and about, and I hope that this is just the beginning of Tom Nook letting her hang out in other parts of the island.

This wasn't the only tidbit revealed in the October 15th Direct Presentation. There was much more detailed on a brand new DLC expansion, set to arrive alongside the 2.0 update. Elsewhere in the trailer, the 5th series of amiibo packs were announced, with a peak at some new character cards and a release date.
