There are a few forms of currency in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Nook Miles are one of them. They're quite easy to collect once you know how and they can be very useful to have as they allow you to do a lot of different things. We're going to show you how to get Nook Miles and how to use them.
How To Get Nook Miles
To get Nook Miles you need to complete specific tasks given to you each day or you will be given Miles for reaching certain achievements with your Island. You can check what tasks you need to do on your Nook Miles app but you will not have daily tasks right away. To get daily tasks you will need to get Nook Miles+.
Once you have completed/achieved a task on your Island that is connected to the App, all you need to do is go into the App and find the task you have completed. Once you click on it, it will be stamped and you will be given Nook Miles.
Nook Miles App
You can find the Nook Miles App on your Nook Phone. It should be the app in the middle of the top row.
The main body of the app will show you the tasks that will be rewarded as you do them around your Island. However, at the beginning of the game, many of the sections will be blank. This is because you need to discover the tasks on your own by doing various things, some of them will come with a reward and some will not.
If you unlock a task that is connected to Nook Miles, you may open a Miles Chain for that task. This is where you can repeat the same task a certain number of times and each time you hit a milestone with it, you will be rewarded with Miles and a stamp. Once a Nook Miles task card is filled with stamps, you will no longer be given a reward for doing those tasks.
How To Get Nook Miles+
You will only be able to access daily tasks once you unlock Nook Miles+ after upgrading your house once and paying the first Resident Services fee of 5,000 Miles. After you do this, your initial Nook Miles app will receive the upgrade. Your Nook Miles+ extension can be found at the top of your screen. You will need to click the + button to open up this section.
Here, you will be able to review your daily tasks and see which ones you have accomplished. If you have completed them, they will be highlighted blue and all you need to do is click on them to redeem your Nook Miles. The number of Miles that you will gain from each task will be displayed beneath the image of the task.
What Are Nook Miles?
Nook Miles are a type of in-game currency that operates as a reward system. They can be collected to get bigger and better rewards. Also, Nook Miles will offer you the chance to get multiple items that you are unable to purchase any other way. You can see how many Nook Miles you have when you enter the Nook Miles App or the Nook Stop as your Miles will be displayed in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
What Can You Use Nook Miles For?
