Try to get seven clients finished

When you start the game, you will notice that there are only a few limited things that you can do. If you try to get seven clients finished at one time, you will unlock quite a few important and useful features.

Some of these features include building fences, making outdoor spaces look better by using trees, and room expansion. By completing seven clients, you will be able to become more creative with your home designs, and you will be closer to unlocking even more features.

If you see something you like, buy it

The Paradise Planning office has its very own shop that operates in a similar way to Nook's Cranny. Once you start to earn Poki, you will be able to spend it on the items in the shop. Often these are rare furniture pieces that you would find difficult to get at home.

Also, you can buy souvenir chocolates which are crucial in being able to build your villagers a vacation home. Apart from the chocolates, the stock in the shop changes every day, so if you see something you like, it's worth buying it as you may not see it again for a while.

Pick projects that you will enjoy

There are a lot of clients for you to work with, and there are multiple abandoned buildings that you can renovate too. However, when you're starting out, it can be a little daunting, and the best thing you can do is pick a project that you will enjoy.

When you're looking to get new clients, you will see thought bubbles above their heads that give a brief description of the kind of home they want if it sounds like something that you'd enjoy making then you can talk to them to take the project on. Each remodel in the game will take time; therefore, it's worth picking the ones that you will enjoy.

Facilities are big projects - be patient with them

Once you've reached the stage where you have learned how to unlock facilities, you will realize that they are much bigger projects than vacation homes.

Instead of creating a home, you will be creating public services or businesses, and this takes time. You can do a lot with facilities as there seem to be a lot more furniture options/decorative options available to you when you're working on them.

Also, your facilities will eventually be used by other characters, so it's important to be patient while designing them to ensure you're making the best building that you can.

The more you play, the more you will learn

The more you play the game, the more you will unlock and learn. Yes, completing seven clients will unlock quite a few features for you, but there are many more you can find and figure out for yourself. A lot of the things that you will learn at Paradise Planning can be taken back to your island and applied to your own home. Two examples are accent walls and polishing; they're both useful things for building a house for a client and for elevating your own home decor.

There are numerous things for you to learn and do in Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise.
