Animal Crossing New Horizons: Turnip Prices Guide And How To Make Lots Of Bells

Animal Crossing New Horizons is here, and players will want to make bells as quickly as possible to be able to pay off Tom Nook.

One of the more common ways to make profits is to play the 'Stalk Market', buying and selling turnips at different prices.

It's not a risk-free endeavour, but it could help you raise a lot of cash quickly.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Turnip Guide

Once you reach the point of the game where you have a town square, you'll be able to bump into Daisy Mae – a vendor that wanders around. You'll only find her on Sunday mornings, so be sure to log into the game and track her down.

Daisy Mae will sell you Turnips at variable rates – one week a turnip might set you back 100 bells, while the next it might be 200. You can buy as many as you'd like, but they can't be stored in your house – so expect to fill a room with them should you pick up plenty of them.

Head to Timmy and Tommy in Nook's Cranny, the town shop, and they'll tell you how much your turnips are worth. These prices change at noon and midnight each day, so it can be worth heading back afterwards. Of course, you can hold onto them for longer – but make sure you sell by the next time Daisy Mae visits.

That's because once she appears, last week's Turnips will be spoiled and therefore worthless – so you'll have to throw them away.

Don't forget that you can always travel to a friend's island on Sunday morning if they've got a decent buying price for turnips, meaning you can stock up for less.
