Needless to say, it's given the game a new lease of life and the range of activities for players to take part in has grown even longer. The Tripod Camera is the style of camera that you'll already be familiar with if you aren't new to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This allows you to essentially stand your camera on a tripod, and take screenshots of your character amongst your island, alongside your villagers, while carrying out various actions. There are frames and lenses you can add to images too to ensure you get the perfect shot!

The Handheld Camera is new to the Pro Camera App. Instead of your character taking centre stage, they now get to stay behind the camera instead. This camera allows you to capture new angles and interact with your villagers in a new way. By using Reactions, the villagers you're photographing will act out that Reaction on camera for you. Alternatively, this can be used to take scenic shots around your island without your character being in them.

Also, the Pro Camera App introduces more new filters and frames, including that of the Fish Eye Lens. The Fish Eye Lens could be for better or for worse... as demonstrated below with the questionable photo we managed to snap using the Handheld Camera, featuring the beloved red hamster, Apple:

As you can see, there is plenty of fun to be had with the new additions to the Pro Camera App. You now have the opportunity to get even more creative with your photos, and if you're camera shy, the Handheld Camera fixes that issue!
