How To Get A Police Station In Animal Crossing: New Horizons
In the latest Animal Crossing title (New Leaf) the only way you to get the Police Station was completely random.
As noted on AnimalCrossingFandom, the player would need to have an interaction with a random villager and if they were lucky enough, they would request a Police Station to be built!
Once they request a Police Station to be built, the player can commission one as a Publick Works Project and it would cost 264,000 Bells; it is quite the hefty price to pay for one of these stations!

What Is It?
You may think you know what the Police Station does in Animal Crossing, but you may be surprised!
Instead of enforcing the Animal Crossing law and making sure there are no pesky villagers; the Police Station serves as a lost and found haven.
20 items at a time can be stored within the Police Station and the player is free to claim anything that winds up in the station!
So, once you build one within your village it is a good habit to check back every now and then for new items.
It is also unknown if the Police Station will be buildable within New Horizons, but we do not see why they would not include it!
