What Is the Police Station

In previous Animal Crossing games, such as New Leaf, the Police Station was a Public Works project costing 264,000 bells. The role of the station was to deal with any pesky villagers that troubled the island and to store lost items. Up to 20 items could be stored in the Police Station that were free for players to take as they pleased.

How to Get a Police Station in New Horizons

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the Police Station is sadly not a buildable structure any more. Instead, players can report villagers to Isabelle at the Town Hall. As for lost items, they will be stored in the recycling container that is also located in the Town Hall.

As of right now, there appears to be no plans to ever reintroduce the Police Station to New Horizons, but we'll be sure to update this space if that changes.
