Among Us is one of the most downloaded games in the Google and IOS app stores today. It sparked popularity beginning last year as some famous Twitch streamers started to play and stream the game alongside their friends and co-streamers as well.

But despite how Among Us emerged as a very popular game, the game is only available directly for mobile phones, PC and select console devices. However, you may still find a way how you can play it on other platforms, such as Mac devices.

So without further ado, here’s how you can play Among Us on Mac.

How to Play Among Us on Mac

To play Among Us on Mac, you need to download the BlueStacks app on your device. BlueStacks is an Android emulator that lets its users try and play games originally designed for the mobile platform, especially for Android-based games. You may download the app by going here.

Once you finish downloading BlueStacks, you may then install it on your Mac device. But you may expect a pop-up message that says, “System extension blocked.” If it happens, go to the Open Security and Privacy, and you shall see a message that says, “System software from developer BlueStack Systems, Inc. was blocked from loading.” Choose the Allow button to proceed.

Finish by logging in to your Google account. You will be redirected to the BlueStacks’ home screen where you may find Among Us. But if the game does not show up, you may search for it in the search bar. Once you already found and chose the game, you may now enjoy playing Among Us on your own Mac device.
