Is Aliens: Fireteam Elite Coming To Nintendo Switch?

Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a game many gamers want to succeed because the setting of this acclaimed franchise is perfect for co-op shooters and the fact that these developers will be implementing ideas from Prometheus and Aliens 3 shows promise.

Naturally, the premise has a lot of gamers hoping that it lands on their system and though it will be coming out on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, there are still a handful of people who want to see it on consoles like Google Stadia or Nintendo Switch.

Is Aliens Fireteam Coming To Nintendo Switch?

Unfortunately, no Nintendo Switch announcement for Aliens: Fireteam Elite has been made and it seems doubtful that we’ll see the co-op shooter in the console/handheld hybrid.

While the Switch is home to games like Overwatch and Apex Legends, not to mention the wonderful Alien: Isolation, Fireteam Elite just looks too powerful to run on the system.

Granted, games that seemed to be too strong for the Switch have been ported to it, like Doom, but even then would fans want to play a less powerful Aliens: Fireteam Elite with half the frame rate?

If Aliens: Fireteam Elite manages to play like a solid enough shooter on the Switch, it would be a miracle, but we’re gonna have to wait and see.

Currently, it seems like an impossible task that won’t be happening anytime soon since porting next-gen games on Nintendo Switch isn’t easy but we’re willing to be proven wrong.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite is coming to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on August 24.
