After 16 years of waiting since Age of Empires III, we're exactly one week away from launch. Confirming the news via a blog post, developers Relic Entertainment and World’s Edge revealed that the much-anticipated Age of Empires IV has now gone gold.
Launching on October 28th, that's coming to PC through Steam, the Microsoft Store and Xbox Game Pass for PC. Despite previously being confirmed for Xbox Cloud Gaming via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, IV appears to be only releasing on PC right now. Sadly, no Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S release is currently planned.
