How To Start Coiled Captors - Tiny Tina's Wonderlands DLC Location

If you've already completed Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and want to play the expansion, you might get lost wondering how to start Coiled Captors. Though it isn't a standalone add-on, you can jump into the content without getting far into the main game at all.

This guide will explain where you need to go to be able to start the Coiled Captors DLC, and ideally what level you'll need to be to get started. This expansion is designed to make the endgame better with the 'Mirrors of Mystery', but characters of virtually any level can get stuck in.

How To Access The Coiled Captors DLC

Firstly, you're going to want to make sure you're in the Overworld to access it. Then, head to the area where you initially started the journey at the very start of the game. This will be the area where there is green grass and an orange river. There will also be the man with the pin in his back. (Rest in peace.)

Next to the shrine of Mool Ah, you will see that there is now a village entrance labeled 'Dreamveil Overlook.' Because it wasn't there the first time you would have played the game pre-DLC, it won't have been marked on your map.

Head into the town, walk through the ghosts and you'll be greeted by Vesper. She will be the NPC to start your new questline for the Mirrors of Mystery. She will show you how to use the Wheel of Fate, and the currency that resides within it. Once you've spun the wheel, she will speak to you again and complete your quest. Once done, there will be a mirror behind you. Click on it.

The dragon-tailed mirror is the start of the DLC. Make sure to accept the quest it will offer you. Once you've accepted the quest and watched the cutscene, it is over to you to go free the old god from their prison! Have fun in the new Tiny Tina's Wonderlands DLC.

When Are The Other DLCs Releasing?

There are three more DLCs set to release for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. We have "Glutton's Gamble", "Molten Mirrors" and "Shattering Spectreglass." These DLCs haven't been given a release date just yet, but considering Coiled Captors had such a quick release date after the game, it is possible that these three DLCs will also have quick succession releases.

For now, there are plenty of new ways to loot in Coiled Captors and new endgame content to enjoy as you get to free an old God from their prison.
