Is Hearthstone on GeForce Now? 2021 Latest Updates and News

Hearthstone is one of Activision Blizzard’s most popular games, gaining a ton of fans from both the PC and mobile spectrum thanks to its addicting gameplay and constant updates, plus the fact that it’s free-to-play.

Considering the number of players it has and how it continues to be updated to this day, with no signs of stopping, you would think that Activision Blizzard would want to get this on as many hands as possible, like GeForce Now.

Is Hearthstone on GeForce Now? 2021 Latest Updates and News

Unfortunately, Activision told Nvidia that they would be removing their games from GeForce Now not too long ago, and though Nvidia is willing to work with Activision, it looks like we will not be seeing games like Hearthstone on that service anytime soon.

Here's the official statement from Nvidia:
AS WE TAKE GEFORCE NOW TO THE NEXT STEP IN ITS EVOLUTION, WE’VE WORKED WITH PUBLISHERS TO ONBOARD A ROBUST CATALOG OF YOUR PC GAMES.

THIS MEANS CONTINUALLY ADDING NEW GAMES, AND ON OCCASION, HAVING TO REMOVE GAMES – SIMILAR TO OTHER DIGITAL SERVICE PROVIDERS.

PER THEIR REQUEST, PLEASE BE ADVISED ACTIVISION BLIZZARD GAMES WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE SERVICE. WHILE UNFORTUNATE, WE HOPE TO WORK TOGETHER WITH ACTIVISION BLIZZARD TO REENABLE THESE GAMES AND MORE IN THE FUTURE.

IN ADDITION TO THE HUNDREDS OF GAMES CURRENTLY SUPPORTED, WE HAVE OVER 1,500 GAMES THAT DEVELOPERS HAVE ASKED TO BE ON-BOARDED TO THE SERVICE. LOOK FOR WEEKLY UPDATES AS TO NEW GAMES WE ARE ADDING.

While this isn’t a huge deal to mobile gamers, who can download it for free without any problems, Nvidia players would have liked to play this on their computers so it’s a huge shame.

There are probably more card-based games you can play in GeForce Now, but it’s still a shame that Hearthstone isn’t in the service since you’d think the game’s popularity would ensure some good numbers and money.

Honestly, the fact that there won’t be any Activision games in the GeForce Now service is really sad since titles like Crash Bandicoot 4 would be fairly appreciated in that service but here’s hoping things change in the future.

Currently, you can play Hearthstone on iOS and Android devices, along with PC, so it’s not impossible to get, especially since it’s a free download, but we wish it were still in GeForce Now.
