Just days after we speculated on a NieR Reincarnation Android release date, Square Enix has gone and marked its calendar, including iOS on its list. Revealed exclusively by IGN this afternoon, we now know that F2P mobile title Nier Reincarnation will release on July 28, 2021 on both iOS and Android.

As previously reported, players can pre-register right now to recieve a bunch of in-game rewards on release. These are cumulative rewards that have stacked up as the game reached higher and higher pre-registration milestones.

You can watch the latest trailer down below.

We don't know for certain, but new players who download and launch the game within around the first 2-4 weeks after launch should still be able to back the rewards. It's a fairly standard practice in the mobile game space.

As for what NieR Reincarnation even is, we'll refer you to our hub page for the vital information.

Simply put, it's a mobile JPRG set in the NieR universe. You follow the mysterious Girl in White and her personal ghost Mama around a place called The Cage.

By teaming up with other mysteriously named characters along the way, you'll form teams and battle iconic NieR baddies as you travel to unlock her memories.

Developed by Applibot, NieR Reincarnation has welcomed help from many of the big names behind the franchise; like director Yoko Taro, producer Yosuke Saito, and composer Keiichi Okabe.

It's a full-fledged entry in the series that should offer a similarly unforgettable soundtrack, melancholic storyline, and wacky, philosophical script.
