Is Gran Turismo Sport Getting a PS5 4K 60 FPS Upgrade?

As of the moment of the writing, game developers Polyphony Digital has still no announcement if Gran Turismo Sport will be getting a 4K 60 FPS upgrade for the PS5 console. But you can play the game in PS5 in 1800p and locked at 30 FPS, which is similar to the PS4 Pro.

It is unlikely that Gran Turismo Sport will have an update to integrate a smoother gaming experience for the PS5 console. Although the upcoming game for the franchise, Gran Turismo 7, is slated for release in 2022 and will be an exclusive title for the PS5.

Gran Turismo 7 was first announced last June 2020 in an announcement trailer posted on the official PlayStation YouTube channel. So this may be where Polyphony Digital is focusing on, and we just have to wait for another year before another racing fest would arrive.
