Dead Space 4 Speculation Grows As Official YouTube Account Gets Updated

Following previous Dead Space 4 rumours, eagle eyed fans have spotted that Dead Space's YouTube account has been updated for the first time in nearly a decade. As spotted by Twitter user @Sierral07, EA's just given it a new profile icon, replacing the old Dead Space 3 logo.

While the new icon is just generic series art, the fact there's been any update at all has only added to speculation. Previously, several sources claimed a Dead Space revival was planned for unveiling at EA Play Live, a digital event taking place on July 22.

Dead Space 4 Speculation Grows As Official YouTube Account Gets Updated

So far, we've seen a few rumours surrounding this mystery project. As reported last month, this is allegedly in development at EA Motive, who previously brought us 2020's Star Wars Squadrons. Previously, Motive's General Manager Patrick Klaus confirmed that the studio is "also working on several unannounced projects."

It's been over 8 years since a new entry launched with Dead Space 3 and while the series was absent from the last generation - not even making a remastered appearance on PS4\Xbox One - fans haven't stopped hoping for a revival. In the meantime though, we'll have to wait a few weeks to see what EA's got planned.
