The Batman is set to feature a variety of villains, with the most iconic ones including Riddler and Penguin. While trailers have remained cryptic as to their involvements in the film, Warner Bros. has given us our best previews of the rogues through two new images.

The Batman Images Reveal Closer Looks At The Riddler And Penguin
The pair of villains can be seen in new stills from the upcoming movie.
The first picture features The Riddler, who will be portrayed by Paul Dano. Matt Reeves' version is a far cry from the bright look of Jim Carrey's in Batman Forever. With a khaki, green colour scheme, he also sports a face mask adding extra mystery to the Enigma's identity.
The next image showcases Penguin, who will be played by Colin Farrell. Through some nifty make-up, the In Bruges actor looks almost unrecognisable as the Penguin. With a sinister and demeaning look to him, Oswald Cobblepot dons a suit that has been taken straight out of the comics.
We're less than two months away from the release of the highly-anticipated DC adaptation, which director, Matt Reeves proclaims as the scariest Batman movie yet.
This new iteration will focus on the detective side of the Caped Crusader, offering a neo-noir twist on the popular character. Robert Pattinson dons the cowl this time around and is said to be portraying a Bruce Wayne that has been inspired by Nirvana's Kurt Cobain.
