All characters in Marvel’s Wolverine

Thanks to the Insomniac leaks, we’ve gotten a peek at who will be showing up in Wolverine’s adventure. Here’s the list of all characters expected to appear in Marvel’s Wolverine.

Wolverine

Since the game is named after him, Weapon X himself will obviously be part of the cast. Wolverine has a rich history in Marvel comics, but whether we’ll get some sort of adaptation or an original story has yet to be confirmed.

Tyger Tiger

Also known as Jessan Hoan in the comics, Tyger Tiger is a crimelord in the fictional island of Madripoor. Tyger Tiger isn’t the most popular Marvel character out there, but it will still be interesting to find out what role she plays in Marvel’s Wolverine.

Mystique

A more familiar name to fans of the X-Men movies and cartoon shows, Mystique is the shapeshifting mutant that is normally affiliated with the Brotherhood of Mutants. She has deep ties with other X-Men such as Nightcrawler and Rogue, but pitting anyone against Wolverine always draws interest.

Callisto

In the Marvel universe’s version of New York City, there is a group of mutants that live underneath its streets known as the Morlocks. These outcasts are led by a woman named Callisto, a mutant with abilities similar to Wolverine.

Leech

Leech has the extremely helpful ability to suppress other people’s superpowers. However, his mutation also gave him green skin, buggy yellow eyes, and no nose, so he lives in underground with the rest of the Morlocks.

Arkady Gregorivich Rossivich has a couple of different backstories in the comics, but the killer from Soviet Russia always ends up going toe-to-toe with the Wolverine. His superhuman traits and life-absorbing tentacles make him a terrifying foe to encounter.

Sabretooth

What’s a Wolverine game without his archnemesis, Sabretooth? No matter what form of media Wolverine appears in, you can always expect to find Sabretooth waiting to pounce on the hot-tempered berserker for another bloody duel.

Mr. Sinister

Not only does Mr. Sinister possess a variety of powers that include longevity, precognition, and regeneration, he is also keen on performing genetic experiments on those unfortunate enough to become his subjects. Of all the characters on this list, Mr. Sinister looks the most qualified to be the game’s big bad.

Jean Grey

Underneath Wolverine’s rough exterior and his adamantium-laced interior lies a soft spot for Jean Grey. Jean is a fellow member of the X-Men with telepathic abilities.

With the game scheduled to release in 2026, there’s plenty of time for this lineup to change. Some characters might end up getting cut while others could give us a surprise appearance.

And that concludes our list of confirmed characters in Marvel's Wolverine. While you're here, feel free to check out everything we know about Wolverine online and Spider-Man 2 multiplayer.
