To start, here are a few things to know about Summon entity battles in the Combat Simulator. These are some of the toughest fights in the game, and regardless of when you decide to attempt to defeat them, their level will sync with yours, always giving you a similar level of challenge.
Of course, attempting these battles later in the game when your characters are at higher levels with strong materia and fully unlocked Folios makes the fights easier than when you try them at the beginning, even with Lv. Sync. The only real ways to make Summon Entity battles easier are: selecting a lower difficulty setting or finding 3 Summon Crystals in each zone that will unlock options to face off against considerably weakened summons.

Here's a closer look at some useful tactics to utilise when battling Titan in the Combat Simulator:
- Use Cloud, Barret, and Tifa.
- Equip AERO/AEROGA Materia and use it to quickly pressure/stagger the boss.
- Occasionally, Titan will create a barrier shield called Earthen Aegis; destroy it to pressure him.
It's a pretty straightforward fight; just keep dodging his predictable attacks and staggering him for more damage with your limit breaks and air-based magic and attacks, and he will go down quickly.
If the battle is still too challenging, consider levelling up some more, finding Summon stones to weaken the boss, or lowering the difficulty to Easy.

Once you defeat Titan, you will obtain the Titan summon materia, which you can use to summon him for assistance during battles. Titan deals a large amount of non-elemental damage, his ultimate attack is Earthen Fury, and to unlock Boulder Hurl, you will need to level up his materia to the maximum level of 4.
