Sleuth detective and Anemo catalyst user Heizou is finally available in Genshin Impact, as are his specific events. Here's how to get all endings to the Shikanoin Heizou hangout quest.

Hangout Quests, added way back in Version 1.4, are extra story-based events that feature 4-Star characters. They allow players to get to know these characters better, find out their previous stories, and have a little fun. They also have multiple endings so provide some replay value, especially as you get rewards each time!

How To Start The Shikanoin Heizou Hangout Quest in Genshin Impact

In order to unlock and then start Shikanoin Heizou's hangout quest, there are a few things you'll need to have completed first. You'll also need two Story Keys.

To get the hangout event, you need to be Adventure Rank 40, or higher. The quests needed to be completed beforehand are:

• Inazuma Archon Quest Chapter II: Act III “Omnipresence Over Mortals.”
• Raiden Shogun’s Story Quest “Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II – Transient Dreams.”
• Arataki Itto’s Story Quest “Taurus Iracundus Chapter: Act I – Rise Up, Golden Soul.”

Thankfully, the hangout event is not limited and can be unlocked at any time.

Note that most of the dialogue won't affect which ending you will get, so we've only mentioned which choices affect your stories. Make sure to read every book you find in order to unlock all of the dialogue options.

Shikanoin Heizou Hangout Quest Ending 1 - "Memories Do Not Evaporate"

The story path for the first Shikanoin Heizou hangout ending is as follows:

• The Camp's Secret
• A Time for Whispers
• An Unexpected Discovery
• Middleman
• Confrontation

The choices that matter here, and will get you the first ending, are:

• The Intuitive Commission
  • Choose either of the two following choices:
    • "Okay, I'm curious about your dream, too. I'll assist in your investigation."
    • "I think your dream's really out there, but I'll tag along since you're determined to stay."
• A Time for Whispers
  • "Alright, you've convinced me that there might be some secret here. What do we do."
• An Unexpected Discovery
  • Follow Todoroki and Tokuda
• Middleman
  • Follow Shikanoin Heizou.

  • “Itto, Keep an eye out for Etsu and Iba!”
