Breakdown

  • Palworld is adding four new Pals and a flamethrower
  • All of the new content will be added this Summer
  • The game has previously added new content like Raid Bosses

Palworld will be adding four new Pals to the game soon and if you don’t like them, there’s a new flamethrower that players can burn them with. It’s everything players should expect, as the survival sim has always had a dark sense of humour, given how the game was inspired by Pokémon.

Thanks to a new trailer, we see four new Pals in action and they all stand out in very toyetic ways. One of these Pals is a martial arts frog, another one looks like a fancy ostrich, the third is a monk-like furry, and the last is an adorable creature with a mushroom head.

We also see a trainer burning these Pals in the new Palworld trailer, giving fans a new weapon to use against these powerful creatures. It will be interesting to see just how strong the flamethrower is and if damage is doubled to Pals that are weak to fire.

All of this content will be coming to the game sometime in Summer 2024, though no specific date was given. Luckily, this will be a free update, so fans who already have the game can wait for even more content to play through. Now that more Pals are being added to the survival sim, it really feels like this game will be alive for years.

More content is expected to come to Palworld, as the devs previously announced Palworld Arena, the game’s highly-anticipated PvE mode, would also be coming. No release date for Palworld Arena was revealed, though the developers did say that it would be coming soon.

Pocket Pair, Inc. has done a good job of releasing free content thus far, giving fans plenty of content to play through. Fans previously received a free Raid Boss, giving players a major challenge to grind for.

Fans will be able to play Palworld on Xbox Series and PC. Those with a Game Pass subscription will be able to play the game for “free,” until it’s removed. Plans for a PS5 version were brought up, though nothing has been confirmed.
