Riding around with Miraidon in Pokémon Violet can be pretty fun, but we never expected to see anyone try to replicate that feeling in real life. Enter these Toyota engineers, who are attempting to make an actual Miraidon motorcycle as part of a project for the company and it looks amazing.

Shown off by Toyota (via Go Nintendo), members of the Toyota Engineering Society are trying to make an actual Miraidon motorcycle that works. We doubt this will be a product sold to the public but the test models look impressive, as it looks just like Miraidon in the game, maybe a bit better.

Trying to make the Pokémon Violet mascot a functioning motorcycle is the main goal of the Toyota Engineering Society, so we can’t wait to see it in action. If there’s anything that might convert Pokémon fans into riding motorcycles, it will be this purple bad boy right here.

Considering how Miraidon is a futuristic lizard Pokémon who turns into a motorcycle, we’re surprised that it ended up losing to Koraidon in popularity polls. Riding around with Miraidon in Violet is an arguably more fun time, but there’s something about Koraidon’s design that’s a bit cooler.

However you feel about either game, Pokémon Violet is still one-half of the two fastest-selling games on Nintendo Switch, with both titles selling ridiculously well. Granted, both games do have a ton of technical problems to go through, but they are still quality JRPGs that fans can enjoy.

Both games recently completed their DLC with the Treasure of Area Zero Expansion Pass, giving players two meaty campaigns to go through. These two DLC packs also give players new areas to explore and harder battles to partake in, the latter of which fans can truly enjoy. Getting through the expansion should be a good distraction until Pokémon Legends: Z-A comes out next year.

Pokémon Violet is readily available on Nintendo Switch. Fans who prefer the color red and hot cave women can pick up Pokémon Scarlet on Switch as well.
