How do you get shrimp in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you're able to catch shrimp by fishing. Shrimp is a common seafood fish that can only be caught when you cast your rod in the ocean off of Dazzle Beach. If you want to catch a shrimp, look for blue-coloured ripples in the water; the colour of the ripples will help you determine what type of fish or creature you're looking at.

If you're wondering why you'd want to obtain shrimp in Dreamlight Valley, the ingredient is required to make several five-star meals. The bouillabaisse, gumbo, and lancetfish paella each require you to have a shrimp on you to cook them, so you'll have to catch at least three before you can cook every five-star meal.

Even if you're not looking to cook all the five-star meals, you'll still have to make a bouillabaisse in Goofy's quest, Dinner With a Friend. This is one of the meals that requires shrimp, so you'll have to catch a shrimp in order to progress your friendship.
