You will first have to unlock Kyovashad, which is an early location in the game. Just go ahead and play the first quests and missions in the Prologue to unlock it.

Once you can visit and walk around in Kyovashad, open up your map and locate the treasure chest icon. It represents the stash, so go ahead and click on it while on the map to get the path that will lead you to it.

The stash in Kyovashad will be located just north of the waypoint in the centre of the town. You will find an inn with some stairs. Go ahead and go up to the second floor and you will find the treasure chest. Interact with it and you will be able to use the stash to store your gear, weapons, and items.

How does the stash work in Diablo 4?

Your items will remain secure forever in the stash. That is unless you choose to remove them. The items you store in the stash will be shared among all your characters, which is a very useful advantage.

Initially, you will only possess a stash size of 50. However, if you save up to 100,000 gold you will be able to double its size up to 100. Gold will also be shared among all your characters, so be sure to manage it strategically to optimise its space.

The stash will be very useful for your character in case you need to stash weapons that your character cannot use due to level limitations. Be sure to continuously visit your stash in Kyovashad to manage all your items as well as drop the ones that you cannot use or wish to store for a future endeavour.
