The 'AFK' element of AFK Journey is its automated gameplay mechanics, allowing players to progress even when they are not actively interacting with the game. Edit your team with the best heroes to adjust strategies and formations and farm different battles for resources.

How to Start AFK Journey Inventory Sort Minigame

To start this minigame, players need only to find Phillip and his town quest which starts in stage 2. Phillip wants to be a merchant and join the Mithril Consortium, but his supplier has only given him some odd and seemingly useless items.

Phillip will attempt to sell you these strange items, but it's okay, even if you refuse to buy them, Phillip will ask for your help organising the items back into his bag.

This will give you the first stage of the Inventory Sort minigame. Different stages of Phillip's quest will be available in stages two, three, and five of the town quests.

How to Beat AFK Journey Inventory Sort Minigame

Each stage of Phillip's quest will present you with his bag and a different amount of available open grid slots to sort his odd wares back into. The early stages should prove no hassle, but players will have to get creative later on to fit everything into the bag and win.

Since each item has a different shape coupled with how many slots it takes up, players will have to use the available slots and various item shapes to fill out the grids.
