Santiago “Dozer” Espinoza, or just Dozer for short, has been seen a lot in Battlefield 2042 media, thanks to his awesome helmet, making him one of the more memorable Specialists in the game and one of the faces of Battlefield 2042.

Dozer Abilities and Gadgets
As his riot shield shows, Dozer is all about absorbing damage and moving forward, so players that want to go through enemy lines should consider using him.
Speciality - SOB-8 Ballistic Shield
Used for closing the gap and defending against enemy fire, Dozer’s Ballistic Shield is really handy when you’re planning to mow down enemies.
Simply press the d-pad and the fire button to use the Ballistic Shield, though keep in mind that you can’t shoot while defending so make sure your teammates have your back when moving forward.
Trait - Blast Resistant
Considering how Dozer uses his Ballistic Shield while moving forward, it’s no surprise that his Trait is Blast Resistant, ensuring that the Battlefield 2042 Specialist can take more damage than other characters.
That doesn’t mean he should just go guns-a-blazing in front of enemy lines but closing the gap with your shield and then firing with your weapon of choice means you will likely survive most close encounters with Dozer.
Dozer Specialist Tips
As the previous paragraphs had hinted, Dozer is the kind of Specialist you want in Battlefield 2042 for going through bullets and taking out other soldiers.
While the Blast Resistant Trait does mean Dozer can take some damage after his Ballistic Shield is down, it would be best if your teammates help you take out other soldiers while you’re defending yourself, so coordination is best.
Dozer Loadout Idea
Getting up close and personal is the best way to use Dozer, so make sure you have high-impact weapons that can demolish your foes quickly once your Ballistic Shield is down. Dozer with an LCMG or K30 should make him a force to be reckoned with.
